Printed Circuit Board Pattern Design

Circuit Board Find

This is one side of the two printed circuit boards bought at a boot fair. Years ago this would have been state-of-the-art, but its possibilities as a pattern is what persuaded me to buy them.

The Pattern

For this pattern I have taken only the gist of the original circuit board. One side of the circuit board has all the components, such as resistors and diodes. The other side shows the metal ends of these components soldered onto the circuit board, which is what this pattern shows.

Traces

The printed tracks are called Traces. Where each of the components has been soldered onto the traces, I have shown these as white disks.

Colouring The Pattern

I could have coloured all of the traces the same, but felt a two colour approach might be more appealing as a design. The first colour combination sees red and blue traces. In some of the variations I have also varied the colour of the background. Which combination do you prefer?
